MOONALICE TOURING INC.

On 04/09, it will be 15 years since I tweeted about a band called MOONALICE TOURING INC. that was rocking the interwebs with "Twittercasts." I'd never heard of Moonalice, but I thought what they were doing with Twittercasts was very cool. The person who replied to my tweet was Roger McNamee . I had never heard of Roger either, but I loved the music, particularly a song on the band's eponymous first album, "I'm Glad You Think So." What was at the time a mutual fascination for sharing music via new media and live satellite broadcasts developed into me helping out with the band's social media, and eventually when I formed my own company, Moonalice became Personify Media & Design's first client. And remains one to this day. It's not an exaggeration to say that one tweet significantly changed the course of my life. In the words of the song, "Follow your dreams, don't let them slip away ... good things happen in the nick of time!"
