We believe that when women build, they don’t just create spaces—they shape communities and empower futures. That’s why we’re proud to highlight Zora's House, a groundbreaking project that embodies the power of women in design and construction. As Ohio’s only nonprofit co-working and community space built by and for women of color, Zora’s House is making history with its new 10,000-square-foot facility in Weinland Park. Designed by Moody Nolan and brought to life by an all-female-led construction team in partnership with Marker, Inc., this milestone project is one of the largest real estate developments led by a Black woman in the Midwest, with women leading at every level. Founder and CEO LC Johnson continues to inspire, recently appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show for the second time to share the impact of Zora’s House and its growing legacy. Catch a sneak peek of our work in the segment, featuring photos of the project!
