We couldn’t have done this without them. 6 months ago, we joined the?Jones + Foster Accelerator, knowing little about running a startup. What we did know? We had such a great time speaking on the?Innovator Insights Panel?at the?Asian Business Student Association (ABSA) at UW with Joann Jen, Amy Jean Swanson! Sharing our journey building MoodRoom was both fun and reflective - there were so many mistakes and lessons to talk about. At first, we didn’t know what we were - tool, app, video game? Startups hit puberty too, and we were deep in the awkward phase, questioning everything. But then we learned: passion fuels us, people drive us, and purpose guides us. We’re not here to build products; we’re here to build people. When we aligned our passion with our purpose and infused it in our team, everyone fell into place.
