Yesterday was a powerful day of connection and collaboration! ?? We started the morning at WVSL Solutions, where we had the privilege of introducing the team from Aetna Better Health of WV. What followed was a productive discussion about how our organizations can work together to improve access to resources for the substance use disorder population while enhancing communication across the state—ensuring no one slips through the cracks. The day wrapped up with a late lunch filled with meaningful conversations, shared stories, and plenty of laughs. We are grateful for our partnerships with WVSLS and Aetna Better Health, and even more grateful for the friendships we’ve built with their incredible teams. When passionate people come together, real change happens. ??

What a powerful way to close out HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition—hearing from one of the greatest athletes of all time and one of the most influential mental health advocates, Simone Biles! Moderator and former UCLA Women’s Gymnastics coach Valorie Kondos Field mentioned something during the chat that stood out to us. She told Simone that out of all her extraordinary accomplishments, Valorie thinks Simone’s greatest achievement is being the GOAT of mental health advocacy. We couldn’t agree more. ???? Simone has paved the way for breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, especially for athletes who are constantly in high-pressure situations. She shared her experience at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she made the courageous decision to step away, prioritize her mental health, and take the time she needed to recover—only to return stronger than ever last summer in Paris. Her story is a powerful reminder of why we continue to advocate for vulnerable populations—students, athletes, and beyond—so that no one ever feels they have to suffer in silence. Thank you, Simone, for your honesty, transparency, and for the work you do to normalize conversations around behavioral health. The Moodr Health team stands with you, and we’ll continue to push forward so everyone gets the support they deserve and knows they are never alone. ??

We had a fantastic time at the Emerge Innovation Experience over the past two days! ???? A highlight of our morning was connecting with Dr. Andy Bindman for a 1:1 meeting and learning more about the incredible work Kaiser Permanente is doing to support maternal health. We were particularly inspired by the Cocoon Care Program, which integrates physical, mental, and social health support to better serve expectant mothers. This initiative—created by a multidisciplinary team of Permanente physician leaders, certified nurse midwives, and nurse leaders—focuses on improving the quality of care before, during, and after pregnancy, while addressing socioeconomic and access barriers. It was an honor to be selected as part of the Winner’s Circle and have a seat at the table with other leading companies building the future of healthcare. #HIMSS25 #EmergeInnovationExperience
