Just before leaving Stripe I commissioned a final project. We produced a 6ft marble homage to the expiring Stripe test credit card (4242 on 4/24/24) in just under a month. Cool to see it land in Bloomberg today: https://lnkd.in/eQX8cXU4. "A commission by Stripe to commemorate the expiration of their test card on 4/24/24. The piece features a kneeling figure grimacing in agony, clutching a Stripe credit card, surrounded by ribbons in the style of Stripe's wave motif. The figure draws inspiration from Michelangelo's Dying Slave. It was designed, robotically milled, and hand finished in under a month by Monumental Labs in New York."
