Montgomery County is closer to achieving its ambitious climate goals of cutting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 80% by 2027 and 100% by 2035 thanks to this week's unanimous County Council vote establishing regulations on energy performance standards for buildings that are 25,000 sq. ft. or more.
