Today was History & Culture Day for the Montgomery County Virginia Chamber of Commerce Leadership NRV class. We learned so much about our area’s history and recognized our responsibility to make positive change happen in the future. ?? Larry Linkous started the day off with an oral history about his family who settled in the area nearly 250 years ago! We then toured the Montgomery Museum of Art & History and the Records Room??at the Montgomery County Courthouse. Holly Kobia talked to our class about fundraising and how to create a vision statement that will lead to success ??.
