Montesano Bros. has extensive experience in the expansion and #construction of water treatment plants in the Tri-state area. The Goshen #project required excavation for a headworks facility, two oxidation ditches, two secondary clarifiers, a post-aeration #operation building, and a RAS/WAS pump station. More than 5,000 linear feet of water, sewer, and #drainpipes were installed, and 1,000 feet of new roadway was built. Today is National STEM Day. Our team uses Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in the day-to-day work we do for our #valuedclients. One example is the GPS monitoring that we can add to our #equipment as we did to our #excavator (as shown in the video). This provides the operator with real-time data that helps with operational efficiency and safety. Another example of using #STEM in our daily operations involved converting our hydraulic and engine coolant fluid to biodegradable vegetable oil to meet strict environmental requirements for sensitive projects.?
