It's almost turkey time at MPUSD schools! ?? ??? Each of our students will get the chance to have a traditional holiday meal this Thursday, served with free-range turkey from Cream Co. Meats, sweet potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce. Student voice in action! After wrapping up the districtwide YouthTruth Survey last week, Monterey High School students engaged with Superintendent PK Diffenbaugh to discuss what’s working and what can be improved on campus. Together, they shared priorities for the district's focus for the future and the 2025-2026 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). This is only the beginning! Superintendent Diffenbaugh has plans to visit more schools in the coming months to hear directly from students and will return in the spring to share how their valuable feedback will shape next year’s LCAP. #mpusd #mpusdway #leadershipasthelever #servicemindset #studentvoide #lcap

Families enjoyed pumpkin painting, caramel apple dipping, monster hand making, cornhole, and a “donut-on-a-string” challenge! ??????
