Last week, our team had the privilege of gathering with our regional state associations: the Colorado Nonprofit Association, the Montana Nonprofit Association, the Idaho Nonprofit Center, our wonderful hosts the Utah Nonprofits Association. Thanks to a grant from the National Council of Nonprofits, we collaborated and pooled our ideas to improve efficiencies, enhance processes, and strengthen the representation of the nonprofit sector as a whole. In the nonprofit world, staying adaptable is key, and that often starts with collaboration and teamwork. Those moments when we connect can spark incredible progress. Here’s to celebrating the opportunities we have to learn from each other and join forces for a brighter future!

???? Wondering where to put your civic engagement energy, now that the election is over? We've got two actions you can take RIGHT NOW to support nonprofits. 1. Write a Letter to the Editor about the nonprofit you work for (or your favorite to volunteer for). Be sure to share how your organization raises money - local donations? federal grants? - and the impact you have in the community. Include the number of jobs you provide! Let's remind legislators that nonprofits are not just feel good enterprises. We're also an important part of Montana's economy! Join our LTE campaign here: https://lnkd.in/gre7rXUR 2. There's a federal bill in the house right now that could seriously endanger the missions of nonprofits and make organizations susceptible to political whims. Join us in asking Reps. Zinke and Rosendale to OPPOSE H.R. 9495. Learn more and contact your reps here: https://lnkd.in/gMHmiiNZ

Last Call! Do you work for a nonprofit in a rural area? Do you want some funding to help connect nonprofits in your area? MNA is looking for rural ambassadors for 2025. We have funding to support up to 8 organizations in rural Montana who will do the work of connecting community leaders to resources, each other, and the nonprofit community at large. ● The election is over. Now that we know the players - it's time to think about the policies. If there's one thing for certain about the upcoming legislative session, it's that property taxes will be a hot topic. As has happened in years past, we expect at least one bill attempting to charge property tax for nonprofits. ? We've blocked these bills in the past, and we need your help to do so again. Help us remind Montanans about the critical, community supporting services nonprofits provide. ◎ This fall, we are asking nonprofits like you to submit letters to the editor about your nonprofits - the impact you make in your community, the challenges you are facing, and the future Montana you dream about. With letters like these filling local newspapers across the state, we can remind legislators about the importance not just of championing local causes, but of supporting Montana's nonprofit sector as a whole. ?? Our hearts are near a dear to our local and statewide nonprofit groups. Working with the Montana Nonprofit Association on their annual conference identity was a true pleasure – especially with their fun and playful theme: AND. Highline played around with concepts based on duality and connection while retaining a positive and dynamic energy that would propel conference-goers to learn and connect with their fellow nonprofit leaders. Our final mark focused on leaving space for other’s ‘AND’ story. The logo is also wonderfully playful with an adjustable aspect ratio to fit a variety of spaces. Kudos to our friends and the Montana Nonprofit Association for putting together yet another successful annual conference. We love you, nonprofit people! You make the world go ‘round!

We loved partnering with the Montana Nonprofit Association to support and inspire Montana’s hardworking nonprofits at their annual conference. Such a fun assignment! Bright, dynamic, energetic, and unapologetically positive. Where would we be without nonprofits –?especially in the Flathead Valley?
