The Sletten Cancer Institute has completed major renovations aimed at enhancing patient care and experience in Great Falls. The infusion center has expanded from 20 to over 30 chairs, offering more space and privacy for patients. Other upgrades include a larger pharmacy, a reconfigured lab, and private rooms for extra comfort during treatment. Access to safe, affordable behavioral health relies on nurturing the next generation of caregivers. That’s the goal of Heads Up, a FREE camp for high schoolers that will take place in Helena July 27-Aug. 31. Kent and Pam Williams donate $25,000 to support Stillwater Billings Clinic staff --- Working as a local rancher in 1973, Kent started building buckles in a small custom shop to fill a community need for awards. That small shop was the beginning of Montana Silversmiths — a now-international business that employs hundreds of locals. Kent and Pam have been doing the same for local healthcare in Stillwater County for decades through repeated financial donations. Recently, the couple donated $25,000 to be specifically used for the employees of Stillwater Billings Clinic — a designation with particular significance, given the heightened pressure healthcare workers have been under since COVID and the exodus from the profession being at an all-time high. An empty lot next to Benefis Health Systems’ Women’s and Children's Center in Great Falls will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind facility to assist the area’s aging population. The Healthy Aging Center, which according to Benefis is the only one of its kind in the state, is intended to coordinate health care needs for an aging population.
