Last week we had the opportunity to attend the reception recognizing organizations who received a grant from the The Capital Times Kids Fund. It is always incredibly inspiring to hear about the amazing work being done by nonprofits throughout our community. Funds received through this grant supports our Sensory Studio Art program. This inclusive art studio is designed to accommodate students with varying needs alongside their friends and siblings. As one program parent shared: “I am SO HAPPY (our daughter) is doing so well in class. Thank you for giving her all the space and freedom that you do to make her feel comfortable. This is the first class she has ever joined and not had to quit because it got too stressful for her, and that means so so much to me.?“ https://lnkd.in/ge8sxbRG

Our mission is to engage a community of learners in exploring the arts and developing the creative self.
关于我们
By providing high-quality private and group instruction to all ages, Monroe Street Arts Center is keeping the door open for a lifetime of creative expression and appreciation of the arts. MSAC is a welcoming, inclusive environment where we come together to learn, make, and share music and art. We cultivate a team of caring instructors who are first-rate artists and musicians, and create outlets for artistic expression through recitals, exhibits, and outreach opportunities. A gathering of artists creates an energy unlike anything else — exciting, electric, sacred, and full of possibilities. Simply being in its presence is magical. We know that what begins within these walls grows beyond us; encouraging those same spaces of imagination, discovery, and creativity throughout our community and into our world.

We can’t wait! ??????

Happy The Forward Festival week #Wisconsin friends! I'm really looking forward to spotlighting the intersection of #creativity and #business at "Capitalizing on Creativity in the Age of Generative AI." I believe every member of our state deserves access to the arts to increase happiness and gain the skills that generate wealth. Today, that work is being done by non-profits like Monroe Street Arts Center (MSAC), organizations that need help to fund and promote community access to arts and culture. Join Carey Zawlocki and I tomorrow morning for insights and artwork! Five key takeaways will serve as the foundation for our conversation: ?? Takeaway: Everything we thought about success is changing with our economy, those who can capitalize on their creativity thrive. ?? Takeaway:?Human creativity is different than AI creativity on a fundamental level. Experiment with using AI as a co-creator to help you capitalize on your creativity. ?? Takeaway:?Create remarkable, original work and share your stories of creation to cultivate a unique personal brand. ?? Takeaway:?The arts are a training ground for success in our evolving economy. Engaging with art in any form—painting, music, dance, writing—is a powerful tool for professional growth and development. ?? Takeaway:?Donate your time, attention, and money to the arts in Wisconsin! Wisconsin is at the back of the pack in terms of arts funding, and non-profit organizations need your help providing access to arts and culture in our state.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our Arty Party: Celestial Soirée. Your generosity and support have made this event a historic success! We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to each and every one of you who purchased tickets, attended the event, placed bids in our silent auction, purchased 50/50 raffle tickets, and sponsored or volunteered for the event. Your individual efforts have significantly impacted our organization and our Beyond Monroe Street Initiative. This financial assistance initiative strives to provide free arts enrichment to communities with limited funding. By partnering with human service organizations like Bayview Foundation Inc. and Aspire Therapy & Development Services, we create opportunities for individuals and families to learn, create, and share music and art in a welcoming, inclusive environment - beyond our doors. Your support has directly contributed to this mission. THANK YOU! #monroestreetartscenter #monroestreetmadison #madisonwi #nonprofit #arteducation #musiceducation #silentauction
