A huge thank you to Nikki Austin, CEPA from Thrivent who led the Exit Strategy Workshop hosted by Green County Development Corporation, Main Street Monroe, Inc. and us. Nikki explained to local business owners how important it is to have a plan in place for exiting their business - whether passing it down to family, selling or closing the chapter on their own terms . Attendees left with the knowledge they need to start making informed decisions and protecting their legacy and future. Thank you to all who attended.

Recently, our Ambassadors hit the road and visited the Habitat For Humanity of Green County now located in the Monroe Times building on 4th Ave! This new space is nearly twice as large as their old location, and it’s filled to the brim with furniture, appliances, household items, and building materials. A huge thank you to Lynn Brooks, the new Executive Director, and Linda Wells, VP of the Board of Directors, for giving us a tour and sharing all the good work that Habitat is doing in Green County! We learned that purchases at Habitat provide critical support for their home build and repair programs, helping families in our community find safe and affordable housing. Donations are always welcome! You can drop them off at the store, or schedule a pick-up for larger items. Let’s continue supporting Habitat’s mission and building a stronger community together!
