Over two in five (43%) debt advice clients are in full time work, proving that financial difficulty can affect anyone (StepChange 2024 Yearbook) Employers have a real opportunity to support teams in meaningful ways. Here are 5 things you can do this week: ?? Start the conversation: make it okay to talk about money worries ?? Signpost support: share resources like StepChange, National Debtline & MoneyHelper ?? 'Eye-opening to see how this can affect anyone, regardless of background, education etc. as there are so many elements whereby somebody can start experiencing financial difficulties.
