From 7 October 2024, APP (Authorised Push Payment) fraud reimbursement is now live, giving victims better protection if they’ve fallen for this type of scam. APP fraud is when you’re tricked into authorising a payment to a fraudster – and with scammers becoming more sophisticated, it’s crucial to stay aware and cautious. ??
