One thing I would like to note is the importance of proper training in this industry. Experienced or green, our policy is each new hire spends one full week prior to ever stepping onto a jobsite, simply going over all types of equipment to be utilized, PPE, safety measures and precautions, etc. We feel this process has made such a difference in getting our crew adapted and educated on expectations in the field. Too often we run into areas such as this below in which the woody material, rock, debris from construction and uneven ground cause for poor seed to soil contact or even areas that aren't able to be seeded at all. Not only just for seeding purposes but consider it from a mowing maintenance standpoint as well for the future duration of the site and the complications these types of areas can cause.
