MomsWork empowers women who seek financial wellbeing through a strengthened focus on moms.
关于我们
MomsWork encourages, inspires, and supports moms to earn a paycheck and search for new employment; all while they manage their family’s evolving needs. ???????? MomsWork Provides Support in Three Ways: Education - MomsWork offers a variety of free seminars/webinars focused on financial wellness and resources. The sessions are taught by compensated experts in their fields who teach topics ranging from retirement planning to workplace skill readiness and everything in between. Both virtual and in-person learning sessions are offered, typically during weekdays and evenings. Networking - There is currently a 400 person (and growing) Working Mothers Network on LinkedIn - a community convened to share open employment positions and get/give insider perspective and intelligence on what it’s really like to work there. It’s a forum for working moms to connect with one another and share honest, uncensored information. Advocacy - All MomsWork advocacy efforts focus on improving the lives of working families. Currently, MomsWork is centered on advocating to strengthen and stabilize child care, including improving access, increasing affordability, and ensuring fair compensation for early childhood educators. MomsWork also helps connect individuals to the resources needed to advocate for themselves to their employers and to legislators for flexible work schedules, remote work, paid sick leave, lactation rooms, and paid family leave. You can stay connected to us on LinkedIn or find us on Facebook and Instagram at @momsworkpgh.

Join us for A Tikkun Yachad Event: Repro Shabbat Edition Kol Echad: One Voice – A Multi-Faith Gathering for Reproductive Rights What sustains a movement? ?It is not just the urgency of injustice—it is the ways we care for one another in the midst of it. We recognize that Collective Care fuels Collective Power, and Collective Power moves us into Collective Action. If we are to protect reproductive rights, we must also protect one another—offering space for rest, ritual, and reflection so we can act with clarity and strength. Join us on February 27th as we weave together faith, justice, and care. Together, we will ground ourselves in what is sacred, strengthening our commitment to reproductive freedom towards meaningful action. Anathan House, 1620 Murray Avenue 6:15 – 8:30 PM Rooted in the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) and Yachad (togetherness), these events are inclusive to all communities–as we step into a space of reflection, healing, and shared purpose. Everyone is warmly welcome, regardless of cultural background, religious affiliation, or spiritual beliefs.
