We are working directly with the General Counsel of an energy company that provides clean energy and carbon management solutions to utility, municipal, commercial, and industrial customers enabling them to meet their sustainability and business goals. They are looking for: 1) A Senior Corporate Transactional Attorney to structure a wide variety of customary and innovative transactions; draft, negotiate, finalize, and execute a wide range of complex commercial agreements; and provide strategic advice to the business. The ideal candidate will have experience with a broad array of complex commercial contracts, preferably relating to construction, consulting, engineering, equipment procurement, asset management, interconnection, and/or real estate. 2) A Senior Corporate Compliance Attorney to handle complex regulatory and compliance issues in the energy space. Once a month travel to the home office in Michigan is required (paid for by the company). 3) A Senior Real Estate Attorney to be instrumental in working with the Business Development team to acquire land for energy-related projects and to ensure on-going compliance with real estate-related documents over the course of energy projects in operation. ?
