Proud to work with the Michigan Infrastructure Council on highlighting this project. MiDig helps infrastructure planners increase coordination of construction projects, which means more savings for Michiganders and fewer disruptions, aka orange cones—and who doesn't want that?
Introducing MiDIG! The Michigan Infrastructure Council (MIC) launched MiDIG in 2024, improving infrastructure planning in Michigan, promoting collaboration, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimized disruptions for stakeholders. MiDIG serves as a free planning tool that leverages geographic information systems (GIS) to encourage capital improvement planning coordination and collaboration between infrastructure asset owners. Championing “dig once” practices, MiDIG promotes collaboration, streamlining infrastructure development by minimizing redundant excavation. MiDIG is a free online portal intended to assist authorized infrastructure asset owners and managers, private utilities, and state agencies across the State of Michigan with cross asset collaboration and coordination.
