The winner of the 2024 Minnesota Cup is Momease Solutions, who’s reimagined the breast pump into a wearable bra that can “comfortably collect more milk in less time.” Winning the grand prize earned the company $50,000 in funding, in addition to the $25,000 granted to them and all nine divisional winners. “We’re so impressed by all of the other participating companies and the division winners,” said co-founder Ashley Mooneyham, PhD while standing alongside co-founder Jennie Lynch, shortly after their company was announced as the winner. “I’m just so grateful that we were seen as someone worthy of the Grand Prize, because we certainly believe in our mission and we’re really passionate about it.” This week's grand finale event signalled an end to the 2024 season of MN Cup. The competition awarded over $400,000 in cash prizes this year, and its applicants’ ages ranged from eight years old to 88. Momease Solutions was selected as the 2024 Minnesota Cup Grand Prize Winner! We are absolutely grateful and excited to be given this award for the 20th Annual MN Cup season through the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Alongside this award, Momease was also named the Top Woman-Owned Business by the Carlson Family Foundation--an incredible honor that is so meaningful to us as two female entrepreneurs who are innovating in the women's health space. This year's competition was impressive, and we are grateful to have competed alongside so many innovative companies. A special thank you to our mentors this year: Susan Kimmel and Elisha Friesema. Susan and Elisha helped us elevate our business materials, which allowed us to better resonate and connect with our audiences.
