I’ve always embraced the idea of wearing many hats, and I’m thrilled to announce that I'm adding a hard hat to my ever-growing collection. Beyond elated to share that I’ve started my new role as the Director of Creative Content and Branding for Molzer Development and Cardinal Crest Homes . This unique opportunity is truly a dream come true. Honored to collaborate with Zach Molzer and Joseph Christensen as we work together to enhance Kansas City through thoughtful restoration and custom design projects. It's something special to combine my passion with my career. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude to be able to turn my love of art, photography and design into creative marketing campaigns. From custom-built homes to one-of-a-kind developments, Molzer Development and Cardinal Crest recognize that exceptional architecture deserves equally compelling marketing. Oh, and I'll definitely be bedazzling this hard hat:)

Real example of “value-add” in commercial real estate: The Aladdin underwent a full gut renovation in the 1980’s and when they did so, they covered TONS of windows from the interior for new bathroom locations. After we are done completely redeveloping the Aladdin into apartments, we will be able to bring back roughly 35% of the windows, adding tons of natural light. Highlighted below are just some the windows that are currently covered from the inside. On top of what is highlighted, the entire rear side of The Aladdin is currently covered and will be re-exposed. By exposing and replacing all the windows that are currently covered, we will be able to bring back over 250 windows; adding TONS of natural light for future residents. Once done, an average unit at The Aladdin will have 6 windows. This is what value add looks like; finding a mistake or bad decision previous groups did, spending the time and money to bring it back in order to achieve higher rent per sqft, and a unit with double the natural light than before.

As things continue to move along, I am excited to share the first public rendering of The Aladdin. You are looking at one of the resident lounge areas, library & mail room; acting as a bridge to the business center, private co-working spaces, and study pods. Historic modern finishes for those that live, work & play in KC. Could not be more grateful to have such a wonderful project team working together on this.
