? Last Friday, the Hungarian Permanent Representation ???? hosted a high-level event, “A European Strategy for the Transition of Liquid Fuels and Products." This important gathering brought together leaders from industry, EU Institutions, and civil society, sparking essential discussions on advancing the role of #renewablefuels in the EU's journey towards climate neutrality. Moderated by #FuelsEurope Advocacy Strategy Executive, Emanuela Sardellitti, the discussions reinforced that renewable liquid fuels, alongside electrification, are crucial to building a sustainable, affordable, and secure energy system. Speakers shared strategic insights into the transition from fossil to #renewablefuels, underscoring the need for clear, consistent policies that support Europe’s energy security and competitiveness. A key focus was the need for a well-defined framework for renewable fuels, essential to scaling their role in Europe’s energy mix ????. Liana Gouta, FuelsEurope Director General, shared the vital role that the Fuel Manufacturing Industry can play in the transition to climate neutrality. She emphasized that while transformation is already underway, a clear political framework is essential to create a business case capable of delivering on the clean energy transition ?? .
