We had an amazing time celebrating the grand opening of Fair Haven Commons with the MidPen Housing Corporation team! This new 72-unit affordable housing community in Fairfield, CA, provides essential homes and supportive services to families and formerly unhoused individuals. We’d like to extend a special thank you to MidPen Housing, Deacon Construction, LLC, the City of Fairfield, California, and the Fairfield Housing Authority for their incredible partnership in making this project a reality. Fair Haven Commons consists of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments for households earning 60% or less of the Area Median Income. Over half of the units are designated for referrals from Solano County Social Services and the County’s Coordinated Entry System, while additional units are leased through the Fairfield Housing Authority or a lottery system. Many residents are also utilizing Housing Choice Vouchers. The development features seven 2- and 3-story buildings surrounding a central green space with amenities for the community, including a BBQ area, playground, and space for recreation. Onsite supportive services provided by MidPen Housing help residents thrive in this vibrant new community. #AffordableHousing #CommunityDevelopment #SupportiveHousing
