Moffatt & Nichol celebrates National Engineers Week! Since 1951, the National Society of Professional Engineers has recognized the essential role engineers play in shaping the world around us. Our commitment to creating enduring progress through engineering is showcased by this year’s theme “Design Your Future.” The Wharf in Washington, D.C. serves as a prime example where strategic planning, coastal engineering, and collaboration transformed an underutilized waterfront into a vibrant, connected community. This project redefined what's possible in urban development by altering how people interact with this waterfront space. Hear from Moffatt & Nichol's Waterfront Destination Director, Rob Sloop, on the partnerships that made it happen and why it remains a career highlight.
