I spent two days in the shop this week inspecting and assisting with the fabrication of a Modular Water Systems EVM 11-33.5 wastewater pump station. I want to extend a sincere thank you to Houston Polytank and their marvelous team for the excellent work they do. It may be hard to tell, but this EVM wastewater pump station is a gigantic system. At 11 feet in diameter and eventually 33.5 feet tall, it will soon house a triplex submersible wastewater pumping system with each pump rated at 115 HP and able to pump at 750 GPM each! For those that are curious, the EVM is constructed from solid wall PP plastic which allows MWS to deliver an industry best municipal scale wastewater pump station whose structures will be impervious to corrosion. So what does that mean? Well, it means if you install this package today, you can expect about a century (maybe more) of maintenance free structural performance.......and that saves big money for public utilities struggling to maintain their wastewater collection and conveyance systems.
