IAMGOLD Corporation’s latest project faced a series of daunting obstacles, but with the expertise of Corner Cast Inc., a Montreal-based modular building company, modular construction became the ultimate solution. From navigating complex international shipping routes to dealing with unfinished infrastructure, this project pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in remote construction. Corner Cast’s steel container modules were designed to withstand extreme conditions and challenging environments. Despite hurdles like lengthy shipping delays and difficult terrain, the off-site manufacturing process ensured the modules arrived ready for fast assembly. Thanks to modular innovation, the team overcame obstacles that traditional construction methods couldn't handle, completing the project on time and to exacting standards. ??
