MODO Eyewear, in partnership with Seva Foundation, is supporting the establishment of Vision Centers in India and Nepal from July 2022 to June 2025, with a total of 7 centers in each country. These vision centers will provide over 1,000,000 individuals with access to sustainable, high-quality, and affordable eye care services, including comprehensive eye exams and follow-up care. MODO Eyewear’s support provides critical training, infrastructure, and equipment to these centers, making eye care more accessible to underserved populations, especially women and children. Vision Centers are permanent, local facilities equipped to meet 80% of eye care needs, referring more complex cases to nearby hospitals. As more people experience restored vision and return to work or school, awareness of eye health rises, acceptance grows, and the centers contribute to broader economic growth by attracting other businesses to the area.
