When I took this new role a little over a year ago, my manager tasked me with leading "rural health" for Upstate New York. It felt like a huge undertaking, and I didn't know where to start. Shortly thereafter, an article was sent my way about Higi machines and a partnership with a large healthcare institution. I started thinking about how we might be able to use Higi machines to get our cancer screening messages out to rural communities. We searched through Higi's thousands of locations and hand selected rural zip codes around the US. On October 1st, we launched our cancer screening campaign in 318 rural locations, in 19 states across the U.S. The ads will run through November 30th. This campaign is investing dollars in communities that rarely see advertising spend, because cancer doesn't know where you live. I was incredibly proud to get to see this video ad live on a Higi machine in Upstate New York yesterday! Cancer Screen Week is coming up on December 2nd-6th.
