Metro Station is moving right along, now at approximately 30% completion! We're excited to be getting closer to topping-off, which is projected to happen in mid-April. They've just completed the slab on Level 7 and will soon start work on the final floor. On the interior side, framing is already underway on the 2nd floor. New York City-based Baron Property Group has broken ground on its second transit-oriented property in Hialeah, Florida, Metro Parc North, located directly adjacent to its first, according to a press release shared with Multifamily Dive. Together, the existing Metro Parc, completed in 2023, and upcoming Metro Parc North will encompass over 2 million square feet of residential and retail space between Hialeah’s Tri-Rail commuter rail station and Hialeah Hospital. #Multifamily #TransitOrientedDevelopment

Hialeah city officials have approved this new 8-story mixed-use development that will include 559 apartments, with 5% of them reserved for emergency responders through the Hialeah Heroes Program. Related Group Urban Development is seeking funding to move forward with Flagler Villas Phase 2, a new senior affordable housing development featuring 98 units for individuals earning 30% of the area median income.
