You’ve heard it before, and it’s a recurring theme YoY: ?poor data quality is hurting go-to-market success.?Half of teams will say their data is “good enough”, but the reality is 99% struggle with duplicates, missing fields, and outdated information – leading to inaccurate forecasting, misaligned strategies, and leadership distrust in reporting. So, what separates high-performing organizations from the rest? ? A shared definition of data quality across departments ? Automated data integration across key systems ? A structured process to clean and maintain data ? Leadership buy-in to enforce system adoption and prioritize data investments The biggest blocker? Leadership. I was reading a recent survey conducted by Openprise and it found that 79% of companies with poor data quality lack a standard definition of what “good data” actually means. And nearly half say their execs don’t understand what’s technically possible – leading to misaligned expectations and resource gaps.
