? Sustainability in action!???? Students in our Climate Action Pathways for Schools (CAPS) internship program recently got an up-close look at how science and sustainability intersect. Under the guidance of Director of Adaptation & Sustainability Gilbert Blue Feather Rosas, students learned how to change a specialized air-sampler filter that collects airborne pollutants from our transportation yard. Air samplers work by trapping air over time, capturing particles in a filter that’s later sent to a lab to identify and measure what’s in our air. ?? Positioned near our fleet of electric buses, this sampler is part of a valuable partnership with UC Merced. The university analyzes the collected data to track emissions and support cleaner air for Modesto and the Central Valley. ???? This hands-on experience gave students a real-world look at how clean energy choices can make a measurable difference. Feast your eyes on the stunning, life-size floral dresses crafted by the Advanced Ag Floral students at Enochs High School for their unforgettable Floral Fashion Finale! ?? Under the expert guidance of CTE Ag Instructor Kristi Short, these talented students poured 12 hours into bringing their botanical visions to life. This year is especially meaningful as it marks Ms. Short’s final year before retirement. We are incredibly grateful for her years of dedication, creativity, and passion for the Enochs Floral Program. ???? From timeless classics like Green Eggs and Ham to The Cat in the Hat and Oh, the Places You'll Go, students dove into Seuss's whimsical world full of fun rhymes, unforgettable characters, and valuable lessons that have stood the test of time.?????? ?
