What an inspiring day at the Inspire Youth Inspire Dreams Expo! Over 3,500 students from across Stanislaus County explored exciting career opportunities, engaged with local businesses, and discovered their passions. A huge thank you to the incredible businesses, Modesto City Schools, and all the educators who made this event a success. Together, we’re paving the way for the next generation to dream big and achieve even bigger!

“The Modesto Chamber of Commerce is a local business association. We solve problems and speak out for commerce. As a member, you join hundreds other businesses in our efforts to make a difference.” While you’re busy running your business, the Modesto Chamber of Commerce is taking action to improve the local business climate. Staff and volunteers keep this door open between the Chamber and our local, state and federal elected officials. We testify before councils and boards and maintain a constant dialogue, so our voice is heard. We also have representation on numerous advisory groups and committees, addressing topics such as waste water treatment, business license tax, utility users tax, utility costs and various local ordinances.

We’re excited to partner with @Educational Results Partnership and @Campaign for Business and Education Excellence to recognize the 2024 Honor Roll schools in our community! The Honor Roll program engages business leaders in recognizing successful schools and educational systems that are preparing students with the fundamental skills needed to be successful in the workforce and in life. This is the 10th year that Educational Results Partnership (ERP) has presented the Honor Roll--the only school recognition program presented in partnership with state and local business leaders, using solely objective student achievement data as the criteria for recognition. The goal of the Honor Roll is to find and highlight successful schools and districts and encourage collaboration among educators on best practices for raising student achievement. Stanislaus County schools that made the list include Hart-Ransom Union Elementary School District: Hart-Ransom Elementary; Hickman Community Charter School District: Hickman Middle; Modesto City Elementary School District: Sonoma Elementary, Lakewood Elementary; Paradise School District: Paradise Elementary; Stanislaus Union Elementary School District: Stanislaus Elementary, Agnes M.
