Montana’s Tippet Rise Art Center recently unveiled its new Geode Outdoor Music Venue, designed by the Arup collective of designers, engineers, and technical experts. Geode is set up in the outdoor sculpture park and was specifically constructed to amplify live and recorded classical music performances, something the art center is known for. The venue, which is made up of a cluster of four carefully placed triangulated structures, was developed as part of a series of acoustically optimized music venues from Arup, each carefully designed to fit the surrounding environment.
