Serving up smiles! This week our McLean, VA team prepped and served meals for individuals and families at the Carpenter's Shelter, whose mission is to support people who are currently or at risk of becoming unhoused. The time spent in service was in conjunction with an unrestricted grant Modera has awarded the organization through our Modera Gives program to financially aid in their wonderful efforts toward addressing hunger in the community. We were honored to host representatives from Westwood Cares, Community Meals, Inc., and Meals on Wheels, North Jersey for a celebratory lunch at our Westwood office. Tuesday, EdVestors presented their 19th annual School on the Move prize to Mattahunt Elementary School. Staff and Principal Walter Henderson were on hand to accept the $100k prize awarded to them in recognition for their efforts in creating and continuously improving the exceptional learning environment at Mattahunt.
