We are thrilled to announce Dana Lancellotti as MODC's new Executive Director!
A long-time MODC member, Dana brings a wealth of experience, most recently as President/CEO of the New Jersey Restaurant and Hospitality Association. There, she spearheaded a successful rebranding, modernized operations, and fiercely advocated for the industry during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Her prior role as Ocean County's Director of Business Development and Tourism highlights her commitment to our region, where she significantly contributed to the $5 billion tourism sector, collaborated with MODC to promote the Jersey Shore as a year-round destination, and played a crucial role in post-Superstorm Sandy recovery.
Dana's dedication to community is evident in her extensive involvement. She served as an Honorary Commander at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and continues as an Emeritus, and she was a founding member and Executive Director of the Military Support Alliance of NJ. She also holds board positions with the Jersey Shore Partnership and has received numerous accolades, including MODC's 2016 Silver Gull Tourism Achievement Award and the 2020 Woman of Distinction award from the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.
She has deep roots in Monmouth and Ocean Counties as she grew up in Sea Girt. Her grandparents founded Weir’s Pharmacy in Manasquan in 1922, and owned an arcade at Manasquan Beach throughout the 1940’s. She graduated from Manasquan High School?and met her husband at?Monmouth University.
