    Absolutely overjoyed by our?#ManilaMeetsMichoacan?dinner with?award-winning Filipino restaurant, Magna Kusina. We celebrated history, culture, and community with a five-course dinner with Filipino and Mexican influences by Chef Dante Fernandez, paired with Mocel’s small-batch mezcales. The dining room was buzzing with energy, thanks to our incredible guests. THANK YOU to everyone who came to hear our stories and experience this beautiful overlap of culture and community. PS - My favorite dishes were the Scallop Kinilaw Aguachile (with coconut water!!) and the Duck Dinaguan (duck leg carnitas style with dinaguan sauce) paired with Mocel's Cupreata Expression.     We're excited to announce, "Manila meets Michoacan," a collaboration with Magna Kusina, Portland's Restaurant of the Year and James Beard Foundation nominee! We’ll delve into the rich history and cultural ties between Mexico and the Philippines, celebrating this unique bond here in the Pacific Northwest. The menu will be a mix of family style and plated dishes (5-course dinner), featuring dishes with Filipino and Mexican influences,?paired with Mocel’s small-batch mezcales. There will be two seatings on Nov 18: 5:00pm-7:00pm and 7:30pm-9:30pm. Tickets go live on 11/8 at https://lnkd.in/gEUtAmGC
