We are advancing proteomics research with PAMAF (Parallel Accumulation with Mobility Aligned Fragmentation), an approach that can deliver 5x faster analysis times and 10x better signal-to-noise ratios compared to existing workflows. By eliminating the need for quadrupole filtering, users can analyze substantially more of the available ion signal, transforming how researchers conduct mass spec-based proteomics experiments. In today’s high stakes research environment, subtle molecular details can be the difference between a groundbreaking discovery and a costly misstep. Discover how the MOBIE system is setting new standards in speed and precision, as shared by leading scientists: - Drug Development: Separated atropisomers in milliseconds versus hours with traditional methods, enabling Genentech researchers to achieve baseline separation where conventional LC-MS failed - PFAS Testing: Experience superior resolution of branched isomers in complex samples, reducing run times from week to just 24-48 hours while eliminating background interference - Food Analysis: Cut analytical run times from 90 minutes to just 4 minutes, allowing Cargill to transform a 313-day project into just 14 days while using 40X less solvent - Clinical Research: Identified novel MRSA biomarkers with exceptional specificity, identifying peptides that are nearly absent in non-MRSA samples Read insights from researchers at Genentech, Merck, University of Florida, Clemson University, and Queen's University Belfast who are using the MOBIE system to push the boundaries of what's possible in separation science. Ever wondered why traditional PFAS analysis methods might be missing critical compounds? Our latest application note showcases how the U.S. EPA used the MOBIE system's high-resolution separations combined with high-resolution MS to reveal previously undetected PFAS isomers. Mobility-aligned fragmentation can help PFAS researchers achieve baseline separation of structural isomers in a complex mixture - something conventional LC-MS struggles with. This breakthrough in PFAS analysis enables more confident structure elucidation, even without reference standards.
