Beyond hands-free driving in specific conditions, the system will offer features like traffic jam assist, hazard detection, parking assist, driver monitoring, and 360-degree emergency assist, with future-ready capabilities such as augmented reality displays. We will provide high-performance ECUs, sensors, and software parking solutions. We're so excited!

NEW: Volkswagen Group announced today that it is cooperating with Mobileye and Valeo to enhance the ADAS systems in its upcoming MQB models up to Level 2+. This would bring enhanced, partially automated driving capabilities to high-volume vehicles. ? The demand for more ADAS features is growing fast, driven both by regulations aiming to increase car safety as well as by the consumers’ demand for more features. Mobileye’s Surround ADAS? platform will use software-defined capabilities, a 360-degree ring of cameras and radars and the EyeQ?6 High chip to enable services such as hands-free driving on approved roads, smart parking and improved occupant and pedestrian safety. ? How do our autonomous vehicles perform in snowy, icy conditions and low temperatures? ???? We have been testing the ID.?Buzz AD in winter conditions in Oslo, Norway since the beginning of the year. Along with tests in Austin (Texas, USA), Munich, and Hamburg, this broadens the operational scope of autonomous technology to include extreme climates. Our tests evaluate how our autonomous vehicles perform under challenging winter conditions. We analyze sensor capabilities in low visibility, assess handling on slippery roads, and observe interactions with other road users in adverse weather. The insights gained are crucial for refining our technology to ensure reliable operation even in harsh conditions. Ultimately, this work prepares our vehicles for deployment across Europe and North America and is an important step for scaling our product.
