Our story – A huge amount of scientific knowledge is buried in old PDF documents. We know because we spend countless hours digging out as much of it as possible to support our research clients. We became power users of nearly every literature review tool out there to speed up our internal processes. But they weren't enough. Innovation in this space was too slow. Fast forward six months. We've built our own tool – first for ourselves, and now for researchers everywhere. It was hard work. There's a lot more ahead. But we plan to fundamentally change scientific research… not a bad goal to lose some sleep over. The first version (v1.o) of moara.io (mother of all research assistants) is now available publicly. This tool allows users to enter full-context research queries, review immediate summaries of empirical findings across papers, and file-manage and analyze custom inventories of papers. We're not just focused on search. We're after the entire process, right down to accelerating the lightbulb moments that can change… well, everything!
