关于我们
The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is the nation’s leading membership organization for military officers. We promote and protect a strong national defense and lead our nation to honor its commitments to all who serve. Our 355,000 members are as diverse as they are passionate, hailing from all branches of the armed forces and committed to looking out for one another. Our duty as an association of more than 80 years lies at the forefront of these efforts, as we protect the interests of the military community on Capitol Hill and fight to uphold the earned benefits of our servicemembers. In addition to our tireless advocacy efforts, MOAA supports members and their families through local chapters, undergraduate college scholarships, career development and career transition services, health insurance, financial and travel services, and much more. Our promise to our members is simple. In fact, it’s the same promise they made to their country: Never Stop Serving. Learn more at www.moaa.org

MOAA team member Leslie Janaros was joined by Si Simonson from the MOAA North DFW Chapter at the Uniting in Service: Military Thriving Dallas event, hosted by ZeroMils. ? This event reinforced the enduring value of military service - not just as a profession, but as a lifelong commitment to service that strengthens individuals and communities. By bringing together veterans, currently serving, military families, nonprofit and industry partners, it highlighted how leadership, purpose, and opportunity shape both those who serve and the next generation of recruits. ? The day began with a Circle of Remembrance and Community Run with wear blue: run to remember and ended with an incredibly inspiring appearance by Medal of Honor recipient Salvatore Giunta. Attendees engaged in a service project with Operation Gratitude to build 2500 care packages benefitting local veterans, showcasing the impact of service whether in or out of uniform. ? Events like these are a reminder that most in the military and veteran community are thriving, continuing to lead and serve in meaningful ways. And when challenges arise, organizations like MOAA are here with the resources, advocacy, and support to help those in our community navigate their journey back to thriving. ? At TotalForce+, these are the types of conversations we will explore as we advance solutions that strengthen national defense and support our community!

MOAA team member Leslie Janaros attended a ZeroMils networking reception in Arlington, TX, hosted in partnership with the National Medal of Honor Museum. The event brought together advocates like our friend (with the most recognizable jackets!) and TotalForce+ supporter Beau Higgins. All were united by a shared commitment to service. ? Opening March 25th, the National Medal of Honor Museum honors courage, sacrifice, and patriotism while preserving the legacy of those who served. This aligns in many ways to MOAA's mission - it's a good reminder of why we serve and our goal to inspire the next generation to service. You can find more information about the museum here: https://mohmuseum.org/ ? Thanks to Kevin Schmiegel and the team at ZeroMils for including us in this opportunity.
