In September, the Rainbow House Board of Directors voted to close the emergency children’s shelter and move forward with dissolving the full agency due to extreme financial difficulties. The child advocacy center at Rainbow House will remain open until the Child Advocacy Center of Central Missouri (CAC-CMO) is established and can open as its own entity. Hear from MO-NACA’s Executive Director on these developments and how our team will support CAC-CMO in carrying our its mission at https://conta.cc/4fyIX2I

As you make safety a priority during this back-to-school season, let's remember that protecting children is an adult's responsibility. Internet safety should be part of every back-to-school routine as more children use the internet and smart devices to complete schoolwork and socialize. @NCMEC offers several useful resources to help teach students how to be safer online and become more aware of potential risks and red flags. *Talking to teens about sexting *Tips on gaming safely *Learn the signs of cyberbullying *Sextortion and how to prevent it Children should know that it's always OK to ask for help from a trusted adult. You can report inappropriate online interactions to CyberTipline.org.
