Designer Hot Take: I love a round of feedback ??? But only when this happens. Revisions, especially multiple rounds of them, are the bane of existence for so many creatives and can really take the love out of what we do. I have been there. I promise. I once had a site that got delayed 3 months and went through 20+ rounds of feedback. But there’s a difference between 'revisions' and 'feedback'. And feedback can be so encouraging. ?? For example- with Jason’s branding, he took the time to write three pages of why he liked and disliked each direction after our call. Of course, I didn’t ask him to do this. And a lot of what he said had already been iterated on the call. But when someone is truly excited about what we’ve built together- it changes the dynamic of the whole client/designer relationship. That’s why I index so highly for working with people I know appreicate design, and are genuinely excited by the process. Phrases like “My son really likes this” and “This would look really good on our sign!” shows me that they are invested... and in turn, makes my job so much more fulfilling. ?? Better work comes as a result of better communication. Don't fear feedback. Lean into it. #revisions #webdesign #creativeprocess

Definitely should've done this awhile ago.. But starting today is better than never. Sharing my professional updates on Linkedin has been one of the most fulfilling things I've done since going full time on branding and web design and building MMG Design ?? This is getting a little wild ?? I've never used A.I. for this part of the agency until now. Recraft has been my go-to lately for images and illustrations, but I recently started toying around with using their icon generation features for our web design/development as well. Icons are traditionally VERY stock, uninspiring, and time-consuming to make original. Plus.. they all have to be consistent. One thing that sets Recraft apart is its ability to set a custom style. After creating one for MMG Design based on colors, past prompts, and preferred styles, we can SUPER detailed on the prompts and still have a consistently themed output. ??
