“A friend is there to help, in any situation, and relatives are born to share our troubles.” – Proverbs 17:17 (CEV) In this verse, Solomon points out the value of true friends and family. He explains that a true friend is always loving, and true family is present to help during trying times. Our relatives and real friends will always extend their love and grace to us in both favorable and unfavorable circumstances. Let’s remember that a faithful friend is just as valuable as a family member who will support us through a crisis, and we should cherish these godly relationships.

"Everything we do should be a result of our gratitude for what God has done for us." – Lauryn Hill This November, take time to practice gratitude for all the blessings in your life – both great and small. No matter our circumstances, life provides moments to be thankful – even if it is simply the rising of the sun on a beautiful day. We need only watch, wait and be open to those gifts.

The October 2024 monthly market update is now live on our website. Here is a preview of the report: “Stocks closed lower in October as Wall Street couldn't maintain the momentum from September's strong showing after the Fed lowered interest rates. Equities began October on an upswing on the heels of a better-than-expected jobs report. In fact, during the first half of the month, the Dow and the S&P 500 reached record highs.” https://lnkd.in/e7-i8quu

“Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” – Ephesians 5:20 (ESV) Ephesians teaches us that Christians should be constantly thankful in all circumstances. With Thanksgiving approaching, we’re reminded to always be grateful for blessings in our lives, both big and small and to pray that others may be blessed, too. This gratitude should not be limited to only the good situations, but also for the lessons we learn and the strength we develop through difficulties we may experience.
