I made them with #AI When it comes to designing or redesigning a brand, one of the best things we can do as designers is share the vision we see in our head, and AI image generation tools are helping us do so a hell of a lot faster. Part of our workflow includes taking all the notes from the client brand questionnaire over to ChatGPT to help us write Midjourney Prompts for stock images we can use in the moodboard and aesthetics phase of the project. We created both of these images for an upcoming rebrand for a corporate events rentals company and they perfectly summarize the direction we want to take the brand.     A lesson in: you never know who is listening!! From podcast & youtube to The Wall Street Journal!!!     Why does branding cost what it does? Here's how we look at it. To start, we are quoting anywhere from $7k-$30k for branding & rebranding these days. This is a sticker price that shocks some people, but also would have knocked me right off my own chair in 2018. Here's how we got there: 1. We are in demand -- our pricing has always increased based on demand. The more inquiries we receive & proposals we close, the more our price increases. As we've gotten more attuned to our time spend (thanks Harvest time tracking!) we can better predict the pace of projects in a way that we are at our creative best without total burnout, which ensures we are delivering the best work possible to our clients. 2. We've assembled a dream team -- each team member plays an integral part in the success of your project. Our online business manager creates proposals, contracts, invoices and gets clients onboarded. Our brand copywriter sits in on your questionnaire call to help craft voice and tone. Our design team coworks over screen share to divide and conquer the visual assets, and our content manager ensures all your assets are delivered in a way you can actually use them immediately. 3. We have a tried and true process -- Over 10 years as a designer, and 6 as a branding expert lead us to the process that we now use with all of our rebranding clients. We are able to design creative, out of the box, brag-worthy brands because we put just as much effort into research as we do design work. By the time our clients see their brand presentation, we want them to be excited, but not surprised. Our batting average on that first presentation is 85-90% fully approved, no additional edits. 4. We're efficient -- our process means we can move FAST. One of the most common complaints we see from clients that come to us is that their last designer or design team took too long. They didn't know when, how or where they were going to get their final deliverables. In business, this can cost much more than money spent, but the inertia of your own progress. We set standard timelines and almost always deliver early. 5. We bring real value to our clients -- although it can be hard to measure the impact of a rebrand (because you'll never have an apples to apples A/B test of rebranding vs. not rebranding) we know that once clients work with us, they go on to do incredible things. Increased confidence in their visual identity leads to increased sales, press mentions, collaborations, expansions, and even hiring on full time team members in their own creative departments. There will always be designers cheaper than us. There will always be agencies more expensive than us; you get what you pay for. #branding #rebranding #logodesigner #logodesign

    One of my favorite questions to ask on a discovery call for potential branding clients is: What do you have for branding so far and why isn't it working for you? This gives insight on your branding pain points like: - we picked what we liked not what will connect to our client - we DIY'ed or hired a more novice designer without strategy - existing branding doesn't scale well for our multiple use cases - it's not aligned with brand goals aka "we've outgrown it" - we've changed the business in some way (more services, team members, locations, product SKU's etc.) All of this info gives our team the blueprint of how we can approach your project and share case studies of how we've tackled these issues for past clients. I'm big on showing instead of telling -- so we'll often link those exact case studies in proposals for a closer look. Ultimately, your decision to rebrand should not solely come from a desire for a 'new look' but be a strategically informed decision that will help you better align your offer with the clients and customers who need it most.     In January of this year, our team went viral (1M views on tiktok, 800k+ on IG reels) for our goal setting Bingo Card. Seeing all of our goals written out in a gamified way has been an incredible motivator for pushing ourselves into some out-of-the-box thinking.
