Project Update: Shorehaven (formerly South Pier) General Contractor: Clayco Architect: DAVIS Scope of Work: 🔹 Prefabricated Exterior Wall Panels 🔹 Traditional exterior framing & sheathing 🔹 Weather barriers 🔹 EIFS 🔹 Metal panels 🔹 Joint sealants   Project Approach: MKB worked collaboratively with the project team to design, fabricate, and install Sto Panel Technology prefabricated panels for the building’s exterior EIFS and metal panel facades. Fabrication commenced earlier this year, with our dedicated factory team of approximately 15 skilled workers assembling the prefabricated units at our Gilbert facility. The panels are then systematically delivered to the job site for organized and efficient installation. This proactive approach was instrumental in achieving a key objective: schedule certainty. Current Progress: Tower 1 and Tower 2: Panel installation complete, finishes and traditional scopes ongoing Tower 3: Panel installation in progress, finishes and traditional scopes ongoing. Project Update: Hub V Student Housing MKB Construction is hard at work on the Hub V project, a 10-story, 648-bed student housing community set to open for University of Arizona students in Fall 2025. We're tackling key elements of the project, including scaffolding, air and water-resistant barriers, and exterior insulation finishing systems (EIFS). When complete, this modern living space will feature 161 units in various layouts—ranging from studios to six-bedroom apartments. The community will offer an impressive lineup of amenities: a rooftop deck with a pool and grilling area, hot tub, fitness and business centers, study rooms, terraces, and private parking. With 274,300 square feet of space, Hub V will offer students premier living close to campus!
