I've seen many people struggle to categorize different types of agents used when building agentic systems. To simplify, here are three common types of agents we often employ at MJ Ventures: 1. ?????? ???????? This agent focuses on generating outputs directly related to the desired outcome. Their key characteristics include: - Assigned tasks in different formats - Ability to complete diverse tasks Common Tasks: - Research - Analysis - Content Creation 2. ?????? ?????????????????? This agent coordinates interactions between other agents and tools. Often known as a "Router," they are vital in managing task flow. - Retrieves tasks - Assigns tasks to the relevant agent Common Tasks: - Task Identification - Task Triage - Task Delegation 3. ?????? ?????????????? This agent critiques outputs from other agents to ensure everything aligns with our values and quality standards. - Provides feedback - Ensures strategic alignment Common Tasks: - Risk Management - Output Review - Quality Control - Strategic Alignment Understanding these roles can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of agentic systems we build.
