Last-mile delivery refers to the final step in the delivery process—getting a package from a distribution center to the customer's doorstep. It’s a crucial part of logistics, often accounting for over 50% of the total shipping cost. Using robots for these deliveries can make them faster, as they aren't sensitive to traffic, cheaper by eliminating driver fees, and much less polluting.
