Your prospect’s time is limited—???????? ?????????? ???????????? ??????????. You’re in a sales call, deep in conversation. They’re interested, they’re asking great questions—you’re feeling good. But in the back of your mind, you’re also thinking: ?? Write that down. ?? Oof, what was that number they just said? ?? Crap, I missed half that sentence. So now you’re half-listening, half-typing, and when the call ends, your notes look like gibberish. Then later, when you go to follow up, you’re stuck piecing everything together like some detective in a crime show. AI Meeting Assistant fixes that. ?? It takes notes for you. ?? Pulls out the important stuff automatically. ?? Even drafts your follow-up email so you’re not guessing what to say. Basically, you actively listen to your prospect. Mixmax jots down all the important stuff. You close the deal. We’re rolling this out soon—who wants in? ?? #sales #AI #meetings

Another cold email makeover coming in ?? Rita Melkonian was the recipient of this cold email. Here's what worked (and what didn't): ? Good social proof ? Straightforward CTA ? Subject line overused ? No pain points mentioned ? Confusing P.S. line ? Too generic overall Go through the slides to see how we jazzed it up a little! P.S. Do you find these makeovers helpful? "This is my favorite podcast I've ever recorded" — Leslie Venetz ?? Aside from the 324983742 blunders during this interview, Leslie shared some GOLD about how AI should (and should NOT) be used in sales. And one of the key things is using AI to have better conversations with prospects. How? Using conversational intelligence to take over the admin side of meetings so you can ACTIVELY listen during calls. Check out the full interview via the link in the comments ?? #ai #sales
Had an incredible conversation with Leslie Venetz about one of the most underrated (but absolutely critical) skills in sales: Active Listening. Leslie Venetz dropped a ?? take: “Active listening is actually the most important and most foundational skill for any seller. And AI—specifically conversational intelligence (CI)—is unlocking it in ways we’ve never seen before.” And she’s 100% right. Before CI, I was that rep frantically scribbling notes, trying to capture key points while holding a conversation. And let’s be real—when you’re doing that, are you really listening? Probably not. Now, thanks to CI, I can actually focus on: ?? What’s being said (instead of what I need to write down) ?? How it’s being said (tone, hesitation, excitement) ?? The relationship (not just the transaction) CI is still massively underutilized. So many teams either aren’t using it or aren’t treating it like a true sales partner. But the ones who do? They’re seeing huge benefits: ? Reps become better listeners → No more thinking about what to say next; they can be fully present. ? Better coaching & self-awareness → AI gives insights on talk ratios, missed signals, and key themes. ? Faster, sharper follow-ups → AI-generated summaries & emails keep the momentum alive. ? More human-to-human selling → Because deals don’t close themselves—relationships do. One of my favorite takeaways? CI is bringing back the “feel” of in-person sales. With so many distractions on Zoom, we’ve lost the ability to pick up on subtle reactions. But AI is helping bring that back, making reps sharper and more intuitive than ever. Huge thanks to Leslie Venetz for such an insightful convo and for being so flexible with literally everything happening (Camera died, customer called me, Riverside kept changing my audio, etc.) GTM leaders—how are you using AI to unlock your team’s full potential? “We constantly complain about how much time we spend on non-sales activities. AI helps reclaim that time so we can use it to be more thoughtful and strategic in our approach.” - Leslie Venetz In the latest episode of Mixology, our VP of Revenue, Heath B., had a conversation with Leslie Venetz, Founder of The Sales-Led GTM Agency, they explored how AI can reshape modern sales strategies—if used thoughtfully. ?????????? ???? ?????????? ???????? ???? ??????????: ? ???? We have no words. Thank you Rosa Gandler and the whole Greenhouse Software team for sharing ???? Lucky to have you back!
I wanted to end the week with a big thank you to Mixmax and, specifically, Elliott Kohtz. Last year, we decided to move off of Mixmax to consolidate our tech stack and our Customer Success team was miserable with the replacement tool. We tried to make it work but ultimately realized we just needed to get them back on Mixmax. We had underestimated how vital this tool was to our team! Charlotte Cuddy announced to the team that they were getting access back to Mixmax this week and I'm sharing a screenshot of some of the MANY excited reactions. It is pretty rare to see such passion and excitement for an email management/automation tool, so this definitely speaks to how much our CS team loves Mixmax. If you are in the market for this type of tool feel free to reach out and I'm happy to share why it's been such a great value add for our Customer Success team.
