That’s why we’ve partnered with the Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter at Habitat for Humanity to drive solutions that improve progressive housing in Peru. Each year, progressive home construction contributes nearly S/.25 billion to the country’s economy. Tens of thousands of families put immense effort into building their homes without any support, aiming to improve their well-being, but in doing so, they risk both their investment and safety. This partnership will allow us to develop initiatives and pilot programs that make technical assistance and credit more accessible to low and middle-income families who build their homes independently.
