Congratulations to hydroGel on receiving the National Grand Prize at Cleantech Open 2024. hydroGel has developed a water-purification technology that eliminates hard-to-remove micropollutants from water. Don Shobrys, Director of VMS, recently received the prestigious Marshall B. Dalton Award from the Corporate Development Committee in recognition of his outstanding service to MIT. The Marshall B. Dalton Award is presented every year during the Corporation Development Committee (CDC) Annual Meeting in September. This award is given to a CDC member who exhibits exceptional leadership skills in developing resources and providing support to the Institute. The Dalton Award is considered the most prestigious recognition that the Institute awards to volunteers for their fundraising services. In the photo below, Donald Shobrys (left) is seen at the ceremony alongside VMS Chairman Sherwin Greenblatt (right).
